Mother's Day Celebration at Meerut Institute of Technology Honors the Spirit of Motherhood

Meerut: Meerut Institute of Technology (MIT) hosted a grand and heartfelt event to commemorate Mother’s Day, highlighting the invaluable role and contributions of mothers in society. The event was inaugurated with a ceremonial lamp lighting by Director Akanksha Agarwal, Professor (Dr.) K.L.A. Khan, and Principal Dr. Himanshu Sharma. The atmosphere was filled with reverence and emotion as the institution paid tribute to the essence of motherhood.

The central theme of the celebration revolved around expressing gratitude and respect for mothers and emphasizing their irreplaceable role in shaping lives and values. The event saw enthusiastic participation from the institute’s female faculty members, who showcased a series of cultural performances, celebrating the strength and grace of motherhood.

Teachers including Madhuri Gupta, Sonal, Ritimee, Rupal, Sakshi Ahluwalia, Dr. Sapna, RJ Tanvi, and Anshika delivered soulful presentations ranging from songs and poetry to inspiring speeches, moving the audience and leaving a lasting emotional impact.

Speaking on the occasion, Prof. (Dr.) K.L.A. Khan emphasized, “Mothers are not only the cornerstone of every family but also play a vital role in shaping the direction of our society.” Director Akanksha Agarwal lauded the women educators for their passionate involvement and recognized mothers as the ultimate source of inspiration for all.
