‘Carbon-Free India’ Campaign Launched in Meerut, HHO Technology to Reduce Vehicle Emissions

Meerut: For the first time in the city, advanced Hydroxy Gas (HHO) technology for vehicle engine decarbonisation has been introduced. The historic initiative was inaugurated on Wednesday at the RTO office by Regional Transport Officer Anita and ARI Vindhyachal Kumar Gupta, who jointly cut the ribbon to mark the launch.

The campaign is being spearheaded by Greenkiyari Pvt. Ltd., an incubatee of MIET Incubation Forum, in collaboration with the Uttar Pradesh Transport Department, Meerut RTO, and MIET Incubation Forum. The event was attended by Girish Thapa, Sushil Chauhan, Aniket Thapa, Rehan Ahmad (CEO, MIET Incubation Forum), and Ashok Kumar.

RTO Anita described the initiative as a strong beginning towards making India carbon-free. Using HHO technology, carbon deposits in vehicle engines are removed, improving engine efficiency, reducing fuel consumption, extending engine life, and most importantly, lowering carbon emissions. Experts believe this technology could bring a significant breakthrough in controlling vehicular pollution.

ARI Vindhyachal Kumar Gupta said, “This initiative will be a milestone in providing a cleaner environment for future generations. If implemented on a large scale, it can significantly help in controlling pollution.”

Representatives of Greenkiyari Pvt. Ltd. informed that the technology is being launched from Meerut and will soon be expanded to other cities in Uttar Pradesh, with the aim of benefitting millions of vehicles in the coming years.
