Meerut: The MIET Incubation Forum, in collaboration with E-Cell MIET, successfully organised a Pre-Launchathon at the institute campus, aimed at fostering innovation, entrepreneurship, and startup culture among students.
TaeHyung Lee, Director of the Global Business Division at UD Impact, South Korea, graced the occasion as the chief guest. The event was also attended by distinguished guests including Muskan Priya, Business Development Manager at UD Impact; Mukesh Rawat; Shoaib Hussain, founder of SH Essentials and an alumnus of MIET; Rehan Ahmed, CEO of MIET Incubation Forum; Sushil Sharma; and Tanushree Jain.
The programme commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp. Addressing the gathering, Lee delivered a special session on AI-integrated startups, highlighting the role of artificial intelligence in accelerating startup growth, unlocking global opportunities, and driving technological innovation.
The dignitaries were felicitated with mementoes. Organisers also shared insights into the initiatives of E-Cell MIET and MIET Incubation Forum, creating awareness among students about startup support, mentorship, and funding opportunities.
A major highlight of the event was the pitching round, where participating teams presented their innovative startup ideas before a panel of judges. The top-performing teams were shortlisted and will be given an opportunity to participate in the Bharat Shiksha Expo 2026.
The winners were felicitated during the closing ceremony, and participation certificates will be awarded to all contestants. Special giveaways were also distributed by SH Essentials.
Overall, the event proved to be highly inspiring and impactful, encouraging students to actively engage in innovation and entrepreneurial pursuits.
