Grand Tiranga Rally Organized at Shri Venkateshwara University on the Eve of Independence Day

Meerut |  On the eve of Independence Day, Shri Venkateshwara University/Institute organized a grand Tiranga Rally under the nationwide ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign. The rally commenced from the university’s main gate, proceeded along National Highway-9, and concluded at Rajabpur. Thousands of students, faculty members, staff, and officials participated, carrying the tricolor with pride and chanting slogans of “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” to pay tribute to the nation’s immortal martyrs.

Founder Chairman Dr. Sudhir Giri addressed the gathering, stating, “There is no love greater than love for the nation. Not everyone is destined to fight on the battlefield, but by working with excellence and integrity in our respective fields, we can contribute to nation-building—which is also true national service.” He lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ initiative for fostering national unity and deepening the spirit of patriotism across the country.

Pro-Chancellor Dr. Rajeev Tyagi remarked that commemorating the sacrifices of the martyrs through such a magnificent Tiranga Yatra on the eve of Independence Day is a moment of immense pride.

The event witnessed the presence of Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Krishnakant Dave, Registrar Prof. Piyush Pandey, BJYM District President Shubham Chaudhary, Dean/Director Academics Dr. Rajesh Singh, Dr. Neetu Pawar, Dr. Anna Brown, Dr. Omprakash Gosai, Dr. Ashwin Saxena, Dr. Yogeshwar Sharma, Dr. S.N. Sahu, Dr. Darpan Kaushik, Dr. Suman Kumari, Director (Meerut Campus) Dr. Pratap Singh, Media In-charge Vishwas Rana, and several other dignitaries.

The rally created an atmosphere charged with patriotism, as the national flag fluttered with pride and the entire area resonated with slogans celebrating the glory of the tricolor.
