MIT Welcomes BBA Batch of 2025 with Grand Orientation Programme “Abhinandan”

Meerut, August 7 – The Department of Business Administration at Meerut Institute of Technology (MIT) hosted a grand orientation programme titled “Abhinandan” to welcome the incoming BBA batch of 2025. Over 220 new students marked the beginning of their academic and professional journey at the institute.

The programme commenced with a traditional Saraswati Vandana followed by a warm welcome of the dignitaries. Dr. K.L.A. Khan (Director, MIT), Dr. Himanshu Sharma (Principal, Polytechnic), and Dr. Neeraj Kant Sharma (Principal, Pharmacy) greeted the newcomers with inspiring words, encouraging them to embrace discipline and dedication in their academic pursuit.

The event was formally inaugurated by Ms. Himani Mishra, Head of the BBA Department, followed by motivating addresses from the Chief Guests – Mr. Rajinder Kumar (Director, Froyo Technologies, Noida) and Major General Pankaj Kaushik, Secretary of Meerut Management Association (MMA). Both emphasized goal-setting, clarity of purpose, and maintaining a focused approach in life and career.

Further enriching the session, Ms. Sonal Mishra (Head, Placement Cell) and Mr. Ayush Singhal (Head, Training & Placement Cell) briefed students on placement opportunities and skill-building initiatives offered by the institute.

The programme was efficiently coordinated by BBA faculty members Ms. Sakshi Ahluwalia and Ms. Shivalika Gupta, along with the collaborative efforts of second-year students. The event concluded with a vote of thanks, acknowledging the gracious presence of guests, faculty members, and students.
