Meerut: A grand felicitation ceremony for the Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Award 2025 was organized at Kishan Institute of Teacher Education, Delhi Road, Meerut, under the joint aegis of Maa Samista Seva Sanskar Foundation and the KITE Group of Institutions.
The event began with the traditional lighting of the lamp before the idol of Maa Saraswati, accompanied by Vedic chants. Chief Guest Dr. Suresh Pal highlighted the pivotal role of teachers, describing them as “the soul of society who guide the nation through their knowledge and values.”
Former Commissioner Danveer Singh emphasized the significance of the Constitution, calling it the “soul of the nation” and much more than just a book of laws. Naina Singh, Vice Secretary of ITE Meerut, urged students to remain committed to the service of society and the nation.
On the occasion, KITE Director Akash Chabbak presented an overview of the institution, while Acharya Anuj Yadav shed light on the history of the Sanskrit Ashram. Foundation President Dr. Ashok Kumar Yadav stated that teachers are not confined to textbooks but serve as pillars of nation-building by shaping the character and personality of students.
The highlight of the event was the felicitation of over 200 deans, directors, principals, and teachers from across the country. The cultural segment, featuring music, dance, and poetry by students, captivated the audience.
The event was anchored by Mayank Verma, while Dr. Suraksha Bansal delivered the vote of thanks. The ceremony was attended by more than 200 participants, including academicians, research scholars, and social activists.
Prominent attendees included Ajay Chaudhary, Lalit Thakur, Akhil Gautam, Tushar Thakur, Dr. Sanjay Kaushik, Kajal Sharma, Girish Azad, Rajendra Kumar, Dinesh Yadav, Rita Devi, Dr. Mamta Rani, and Rafika among others.
