Campus France visit at MIET highlights global education pathways

Meerut: Meerut Institute of Engineering and Technology (MIET) hosted Muskan Jain, representative of Campus France, the official body of the French Embassy in India, to promote higher education opportunities in France and strengthen international academic collaboration.

The visit began with an interactive session for students, where detailed information was shared on pursuing higher education in France. Topics included academic programmes, scholarships, application procedures and visa guidelines. Students were also introduced to France as a destination offering affordable, high-quality education with strong global career prospects.

A second session saw participation from school principals and counsellors from Meerut and nearby regions. The discussion focused on enabling educators to provide accurate guidance to students aspiring to study abroad. Speakers highlighted the crucial role of counsellors in shaping global career pathways and emphasised the need for stronger institutional collaboration.

Campus France facilitates Indian students with end-to-end support, including university selection, admissions, scholarships, visa assistance and pre-departure guidance, while also promoting academic partnerships between Indian and French institutions.

Among those present were representatives from Dayawati Modi Academy, Presidency Public School, Chaya Public School (Modinagar), Saraswati Public School and Shiva Educational Institute.

MIET chairman Vishnu Sharan, vice-chairman Puneet Agarwal, Gaurav Agarwal, campus director Dr Sanjay Kumar Singh, Ramesh Singh, Dr Nikesh Kumar (HoD, chemical engineering) and Tanushree Jain, manager, international collaboration cell, were also present. The visit reaffirmed MIET’s focus on providing global exposure and opportunities to its students.
