Meerut: The Meerut Institute of Engineering and Technology organised an expert talk on “Cyber Security, Cyber Crime Investigation and Digital Forensics in the Era of Artificial Intelligence” through its Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AIML), in association with the Intellia Society and Institution’s Innovation Council.
The session was conducted under the guidance of Dr Rambir Singh and coordinated by Dr Sandhya, with the objective of creating awareness about the growing importance of cybersecurity in an increasingly digital world.
The programme was held under the patronage of Prof Dr Sanjay Kumar Singh. Other dignitaries present included Dr Sanjeev Singh, Dr Krishan Kumar, and Dr Rambir Singh, along with faculty members and students.
The keynote address was delivered by Dr Anup Girdhar, CEO and founder of Sedulity Solutions and Technologies. He shared insights into cyber crime investigation, digital evidence management, and modern digital forensic techniques. He also highlighted the evolving role of artificial intelligence in cybersecurity, outlining both its advantages and associated risks.
The session featured real-world case studies and interactive discussions, enabling students to gain a deeper understanding of cyber threats and preventive strategies. The guest speaker was felicitated with a memento as a token of appreciation.
