Sahibabad. The atmosphere at Inderprastha Engineering College, Sahibabad, was filled with patriotic fervor and excitement during its convocation ceremony, as students from Arwachin Bharti Secondary School, Vivek Vihar, delivered a mesmerizing performance with their traditional bagpipe band.
The Convocation ceremony commenced with the ceremonial lamp lighting by Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) J.P. Pandey, Director of Bharat Electronics Pvt Ltd Mr. Anup kumar Rai , College Chairman Shri. Vishnu Sharan, Vice Chairman Shri.Puneet Agarwal, Director Dr. D.K.Sharma, Placement Director Ms. Akanksha Agarwal, and Registrar Ms. Alpana Rani.
As part of the cultural program, the bagpipe band performance became the highlight of the event. Dressed in traditional attire, the students marched in perfect synchrony and played melodious tunes that energized the venue and captivated the audience.
The rhythmic beats and harmonious coordination of the band left everyone spellbound. The distinguished guests on stage rose to their feet, applauding the students with a standing ovation.
Speaking on the occasion, College Director Dr. D.K. Sharma remarked, “The discipline, dedication, and skill displayed by the students of Arwachin Bharti School are truly commendable. Such performances inspire young minds to uphold and cherish our cultural heritage.”
Director-Principal of Arwachin Bharti School, Ms. Urmila, shared that the students had practiced diligently for several weeks to prepare for this performance. “Their success on such a grand stage is a testament to their hard work and perseverance,” she added.
The bagpipe band’s performance not only brought prestige to the school but also made the convocation ceremony a memorable and culturally rich celebration.
