Meerut: The Incubation Forum and E-Cell of Meerut Institute of Engineering and Technology (MIET) jointly organized an inspirational session on “Building a Startup – The Role of a Founder CEO” on Tuesday.
The keynote speaker was Mr. S.M. Raunaq Mustafa (Head – Physics Wallah School of Startup, former CEO – IIM Lucknow EIC), who has over 25 years of experience, has mentored more than 10,000 startups, and managed startup funds worth over ₹300 crore.
The event began with a lamp-lighting ceremony by MIET Director Prof. (Dr.) S.K. Singh along with faculty members. In his inaugural address, Dr. Singh encouraged students to embrace innovation and move forward on the path of entrepreneurship.
The chief guest was felicitated with a bouquet and memento. In his address, Mr. Mustafa emphasized that the Founder CEO forms the strongest foundation of any startup’s success. “The vision, leadership, and dedication of the founder CEO drive the startup forward,” he remarked. His session was highly interactive, with students actively asking questions and receiving insightful answers.
During the program, Mr. Rehan Ahmad shared real-life startup stories and introduced some emerging startups on stage. Students also presented demo pitching, which was well appreciated by the audience.
The event concluded with an E-Cell Orientation, acquainting students with entrepreneurship opportunities and startup activities at MIET.
The session proved to be highly beneficial and motivating for students, pre-incubates, startups, and aspiring entrepreneurs alike.
