"MIT Kicks Off Academic Year with ‘Udbhav – A New Beginning’ to Inspire Next-Gen Techies"

 Speakers stress discipline, innovation, and career focus

Meerut: The Department of Computer Applications at Meerut Institute of Technology (MIT) marked the commencement of the new academic session with a grand orientation programme titled ‘Udbhav – A New Beginning’. Held in the state-of-the-art Seminar Halls A and B, the event witnessed the participation of over 400 enthusiastic students from the BCA (2025–28) batch.

Chief Guest Rajinder Chittoria, Director – Froyotechnologies Pvt. Ltd., highlighted emerging trends in the IT sector and emphasised the importance of innovation and adaptability. Dr. K.L.A. Khan (Director) urged students to uphold discipline and set clear career goals, while Dr. Himanshu Sharma (Principal – PC) encouraged them to maintain a balance between academics and extracurricular pursuits. Dr. Neeraj Kant (Principal – Pharmacy) underlined the value of multidisciplinary learning, and Dr. Gaurav Kumar (Dean Academics) stressed time management and academic integrity.

Madhuri Gupta (CEO – Meerut Udyami Foundation) inspired students to embrace entrepreneurship, while placement cell representatives Ayush Singhal and Sonal Mishra shared valuable insights on skill development and placement readiness. Department Head Dr. Pankaj Sharma extended a warm welcome, assuring continuous guidance and support throughout their academic journey.

The event, compered by Monika Rana and Suchitra Pal, combined information with motivation, leaving students energised, curious, and ready to dream big.
