Talent Shines at Freshers’ Party in MIET Business School

Shivi crowned Miss Fresher, Paritosh wins Mr Fresher title

Meerut: MIET Business School hosted a vibrant and engaging Freshers’ Party to welcome the newly admitted MBA students, showcasing an impressive display of talent, energy and cultural diversity. The event, organized by the senior students, commenced with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony performed by Campus Director Dr. Sanjay Kumar Singh, Dean Academics Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Singh, Dean CS/IT Dr. Naresh Kumar, HoD MBA Dr. Madhubala Sharma, Media Head Ajay Chaudhary, and Chief Proctor Rana Top Singh Pundeer.

Senior students greeted their juniors with the lively beats of dhol and nagada, setting a festive tone for the day. A series of entertainment activities—including fun games, dance performances, musical renditions, poetry recitations and dramatic acts—kept the audience thoroughly engaged. Energetic bhangra and giddha performances added a burst of colour and enthusiasm to the celebration, while solo and group performances captivated everyone present.

The highlight of the event was the Mr & Ms Fresher Contest, conducted in three rounds: ramp walk, talent showcase and a final question-answer round. Participants impressed the judges with their confidence, creativity and communication skills. At the end of the contest, Shivi Rastogi was crowned Miss Fresher, while Paritosh Sharma won the title of Mr Fresher. The other title winners included Khushi Pundeer (Miss Charming), Krish Rastogi (Mr Charming), Namrata Chawla (Miss Talent) and Rohit (Mr Talent).

The celebration not only marked a warm welcome for the newcomers but also highlighted the spirited, inclusive and vibrant culture of MIET Business School, setting a positive tone for the academic journey ahead.
