Ajay Chaudhary Appointed Meerut Division Convenor of UPAJ

Meerut: The Uttar Pradesh Association of Journalists (UPAJ) recently held its state convention in Moradabad, where several key decisions were taken to strengthen the organisation. Under the ‘Moradabad Resolution’, the association has set a target to establish active units in all 75 districts of the state by the end of 2026.

As part of this initiative, senior journalist and UPAJ state vice-president Ajay Chaudhary has been appointed as the convenor for the Meerut division. He will oversee organisational expansion and strengthening across six districts—Meerut, Baghpat, Bulandshahr, Ghaziabad, Gautam Buddh Nagar (Noida) and Hapur.

Chaudhary’s responsibilities include forming new units in districts where the organisation is not active, reviving inactive units, and uniting journalists to safeguard their interests. His role is seen as crucial in strengthening the organisation at the grassroots level.

UPAJ office-bearers and members have congratulated him on his appointment and expressed confidence that under his leadership, the organisation will gain new direction and momentum.
