IPEC Student Akanksha Tyagi Commissioned as Sub Lieutenant in Indian Navy

Ghaziabad: Bringing laurels to her institution and the region, Akanksha Tyagi, a student of Indraprastha Engineering College (IPEC), Sahibabad, has been commissioned as a Sub Lieutenant in the Indian Navy, marking a significant milestone in her academic and professional journey.

Akanksha, who completed her B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning) from IPEC, has been selected for the prestigious Naval Weapons Inspectorate Cadre, a specialised technical branch of the Indian Navy responsible for ensuring the quality, safety and reliability of weapons, ammunition and critical defence equipment supplied to the naval forces.

Her selection is a testament to her technical excellence, leadership abilities and consistent academic performance. Expressing gratitude on the occasion, Akanksha credited her success to the strong academic foundation, mentorship and supportive learning environment provided by IPEC. She also acknowledged the unwavering support of her parents, teachers and the college community.
