Meerut: Nine students from the Department of Computer Science Engineering at Meerut Institute of Engineering and Technology (MIET) have secured placements with HCLTech for the Amazon Web Services (AWS) profile, with an annual compensation package of ₹4.5 lakh.
The recruitment process comprised multiple evaluation stages, including a PowerPoint presentation, aptitude test, campus assessment, AWS training, and a hackathon. Following a rigorous selection process, nine students were offered positions based on their overall performance.
Speaking on the achievement, MIET Vice Chairman Gaurav Agrawal said the institute's Centre of Excellence equips students with hands-on training in advanced industry tools and emerging technologies, enabling them to develop industry-relevant skills, enhance their employability, and prepare for entrepreneurial ventures.
Congratulating the selected students, Chairman Vishnu Sharan, Vice Chairpersons Gaurav Agrawal and Barkha Agrawal, Campus Director Dr Sanjay Kumar Singh, and Placement Coordinator Farman Akhtar wished them success in their professional careers and appreciated their hard work and dedication.
