Meerut: A free health check-up and medical consultation camp was organised on Tuesday at Meerut Institute of Technology (MIT), located on Partapur Bypass, in collaboration with Medanta Hospital, Gurugram. The camp was formally inaugurated by Dr. K.L.A. Khan, Director of MIT; Dr. Himanshu Sharma, Principal; Dr. Neeraj Kant Sharma, Principal of Pharmacy; Dr. Gaurav Sharma, Dean Academics; Ajay Chaudhary, Camp Coordinator; and Mr. Animesh Kumar, Senior Marketing Manager at Medanta Hospital.

Under the supervision of Dr. Mahzuba R. Mazumdar, Senior Cardiology Consultant from Medanta, health screening was conducted for more than 100 faculty members and staff. The tests included blood pressure, random blood sugar, body mass index (BMI), lung function, electrocardiogram (ECG), and bone mineral density—completely free of charge.

All participants also received complimentary medical consultation from specialists. Camp coordinator Ajay Chaudhary stated that the primary aim of the initiative was to raise health awareness among faculty and staff and to promote early detection of potential health issues.

The camp’s successful execution was made possible with the dedicated efforts of Sonal Ahlawat, Ritima, Johnny Pawar, P.K. Gautam, Akhil Gautam, Sumit Kumar, and Mukesh, whose contributions were highly commendable.
