Glocal University Mourns Ahmedabad Plane Crash Victims, Pays Heartfelt Tribute

Saharanpur: The tragic plane crash near Ahmedabad on Thursday has left the nation in deep shock and mourning. The ill-fated Air India flight, bound for London, crashed shortly after takeoff, resulting in the loss of several lives. Expressing profound grief over the heartbreaking incident, Glocal University in Saharanpur held a condolence ceremony to pay homage to the departed souls.

In a solemn gathering, students, faculty members, and staff of the university observed a two-minute silence, offering prayers for peace and eternal rest to those who lost their lives in the accident.

The condolence meet was attended by Additional Pro-Chancellor Mr. Nizamuddin, Vice Chancellor Prof. H.S. Singh, Registrar Prof. Shivani Tiwari, along with deans, heads of departments, university officials, and both teaching and non-teaching staff.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Nizamuddin said, “The Ahmedabad plane crash is a deeply painful and tragic event. We pray to the Almighty to grant peace to the departed souls and strength to the bereaved families to bear this irreparable loss.”

Vice Chancellor Prof. H.S. Singh expressed his condolences, saying, “I am deeply saddened by this incident. My heartfelt sympathies go out to all the grieving families affected by this tragedy.”

Registrar Prof. Shivani Tiwari also shared her sorrow, stating, “This is an extremely distressing event. My thoughts and prayers are with all those impacted by this unfortunate accident.”

Through this condolence meeting, Glocal University expressed solidarity with the bereaved families and joined together in collective prayer for the victims of the crash.
