Recognition bestowed by LLRM Medical College for exemplary social contribution
Meerut – On the occasion of World Blood Donor Day, a felicitation ceremony was held at the Blood Bank of Lala Lajpat Rai Memorial Medical College (LLRM), where officials from Meerut Institute of Technology (MIT) were honoured for their active role in organising voluntary blood donation drives.
Dr. K.L.A. Khan, Director of MIT, and Ajay Chaudhary, Media Head, were awarded certificates of appreciation for consistently hosting blood donation camps in collaboration with the LLRM Blood Bank. The awards were presented by Dr. R.C. Gupta, Principal of LLRM Medical College, Dr. Gyaneshwar Tonk, Vice Principal, and Dr. Priya Gupta, Incharge of the Blood Bank.
MIT, located on the Partapur Bypass, conducts annual voluntary blood donation camps as part of its social outreach initiatives. These camps witness enthusiastic participation from hundreds of students who step forward to donate blood for the greater good of society.
Lauding the initiative, MIT Chairman Vishnu Sharan and Vice Chairman Puneet Aggarwal extended their congratulations to the awardees and emphasized the importance of such efforts in promoting awareness and responsibility among the youth.
The recognition highlights MIT’s ongoing commitment to public health and community service, setting an example for educational institutions across the region.
