SVU Signs MoU with German Academy of Digital Education for Advanced Tech Collaboration

Meerut: Shri Venkateshwara University (SVU), one of North India’s rapidly growing educational institutions, has signed a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the globally reputed German Academy of Digital Education. The agreement focuses on academic collaboration in cutting-edge fields such as Hydrogen Technology, Solar Energy, and 5G Connectivity, with special emphasis on student and faculty exchange programs.

The MoU was officially signed by Dr. Rajeev Tyagi, Pro-Chancellor of SVU, and Prof. Amit Das, India Head of the German Academy, along with Regional Manager N.B. Roy. The signing ceremony was held at the university’s Dr. C.V. Raman Auditorium, inaugurated with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony in the presence of SVU Chairman Sudhir Giri, Vice Chancellor Prof. Krishna Kant Dave, Registrar Piyush Pandey, and senior officials from both institutions.

Under this collaboration, students and faculty from both countries will engage in immersive academic exchange programs and jointly work on technology-driven research projects. Dr. Tyagi stated that the partnership will transform Venkateshwara School of Engineering into a “Centre of Excellence” through exposure to global innovation and advanced German expertise.

Vice Chancellor Prof. Dave emphasized that students from engineering and agriculture streams will benefit from hands-on training in future technologies and gain enhanced international employment prospects. Prof. Amit Das expressed pride in associating with SVU, adding, "We are fully committed to promoting the dissemination of advanced technologies at the global level, and this collaboration is a key step in that direction."

The ceremony was attended by senior advisors and faculty members including Prof. R.S. Sharma, Dr. Rajesh Singh, Dr. S.N. Sahu, Dr. Ashwin Saxena, Dr. Dheeraj Duve, Dr. Ramkumar, Dr. Omprakash Gosai, Dr. Tejpal Singh, Dr. Ashutosh Singh, Dr. Pratap Singh, and others.

This strategic academic partnership is expected to provide students with high-tech exposure and pave the way for future-ready education aligned with global industry standards.
