The meet was graced by Dr. Mayuri Dutta, Outreach Coordinator (Uttar Pradesh) – VVM, as the Chief Guest, and Mr. Ashutosh Singh, Zonal Organizing Secretary, Vigyan Bharti (Western UP), as the Guest of Honour. Also present were Mr. R.P. Singh, District Coordinator – VVM, and Prof. (Dr.) Priyank Sharma from MIET, District Coordinator – VVM, Meerut.
From IPEC, the event saw the presence of Prof. (Dr.) Vikas Gupta (Principal BBA & BCA, Dean IQAC & Student Welfare), Prof. (Dr.) Meenakshi Sharma (Dean Academics), Prof. (Dr.) Amit Jain (Dean CSE & Allied Branches), Prof. (Dr.) Sunita Yadav, Ms. Priyanka Gupta (CEO, IPEC-TBI), Ms. Shobna Sharma (School Liaisoning Manager), and Ms. Sapna Sharma (PRO, IPEC-TBI), who extended a warm welcome to all dignitaries and participants.
The programme began with a welcome address by Prof. (Dr.) Vikas Gupta, followed by remarks from Prof. (Dr.) Amit Jain. The Chief Guest and Guest of Honour were felicitated by senior faculty members.
In her address, Dr. Mayuri Dutta shared detailed insights into VVM’s objectives, structure, and benefits, while Mr. Ashutosh Singh emphasised the programme’s role in cultivating scientific thinking among school students. Ms. Priyanka Gupta highlighted the importance of grassroots innovation and entrepreneurship, starting at the school level.
As part of the meet, participants toured IPEC’s Idea Lab, a hub for hands-on training and innovation workshops. The event concluded at 2:00 p.m. with a vote of thanks, marking a significant step towards strengthening academic collaboration between schools and colleges while inspiring scientific curiosity among young learners.
