Meerut: The campus of Meerut Institute of Engineering and Technology (MIET) came alive with energy as the E-Cell team and the MIET Incubation Forum jointly hosted “Nova – Burst of Brilliance”—an engaging initiative to foster entrepreneurship, innovation, and startup culture.
The event began with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony by MIET Director Prof. (Dr.) S.K. Singh, Prerna Rohilla (Founder – Mom, Money & Mindset), Manish Garg (Director of Engineering, Startup Founder & Tech Mentor), and Rehan Ahmad (CEO, MIET Incubation Forum). Guests were felicitated with floral bouquets before the sessions commenced.
The highlight of the day was the podcast-style interactive dialogue, where students engaged directly with the guest speakers.

Prerna Rohilla spoke about financial literacy, women’s economic independence, and cultivating a positive mindset.

Manish Garg shared deep insights on startups, technological innovation, and the opportunities and challenges of entrepreneurship. His perspectives left students motivated to explore new possibilities in the startup ecosystem.
The excitement continued with a lively rapid-fire round, followed by the felicitation of guest speakers with mementoes. Winners of the social media challenge were honored with certificates and gifts, while a lucky draw segment added extra thrill, rewarding students with entrepreneurship-themed goodies.
The event was seamlessly anchored by the E-Cell team along with Assistant Manager Sanskriti Sharma. With enthusiastic participation from students across disciplines, faculty members, and incubated startups, “Nova – Burst of Brilliance” turned out to be a memorable celebration of ideas, innovation, and entrepreneurial spirit at MIET.
