Meerut: MIET Business School, Meerut, in collaboration with Avok India Foundation and under the aegis of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), organized a special workshop aimed at enhancing financial literacy among students.
The session focused on educating students about the banking system, investment opportunities, Atal Pension Yojana, and cyber security—critical areas for building a secure financial future.
Industry expert S.P. Singh (Banking sector) and Prerna Sethi (Manufacturing & Export Industry specialist and financial educator from Avok India Foundation) guided students through real-life examples, emphasizing the importance of financial literacy, investment management, and online security.
Head of Department, Dr. Madhu Bala Sharma, underlined the significance of the initiative, stating: “Financial literacy is not just knowledge—it is a necessity of life. With the right guidance, students can secure and strengthen their future.”
The program was successfully coordinated by Swati Agarwal, Dr. Shashank Goyal, Vibhor Goyal, and Rajneesh Kumar, whose efforts ensured smooth execution.
Reaffirming its commitment, MIET Business School announced that it would continue hosting such financial awareness programs regularly to raise the level of financial knowledge and preparedness among its students.
