Meerut: The Meerut Institute of Technology (MIT), located on Partapur Bypass, hosted its much-awaited Freshers’ Party with great enthusiasm and grandeur.
The event was inaugurated with a lamp-lighting ceremony by Director Dr. K.L.A. Khan, Principal Dr. Himanshu Sharma, Pharmacy Principal Dr. Neeraj Kant Sharma, Dean Academics Dr. Gaurav Sharma, Chief Proctor P.K. Gautam, along with Sonal Ahlawat and Ritima.
First-year students from B.Tech, BBA, BCA, B.Sc. Agriculture, MBA and ACA participated in the celebration. Their seniors from the second year welcomed them with a series of vibrant cultural performances and a dazzling ramp walk, creating a lively and festive atmosphere on campus.
The highlight of the evening was the Mr. and Miss Fresher Contest, judged on the basis of performance, personality, and confidence. Aman (B.Tech) bagged the title of Mr. Fresher, while Sandhya (BBA) was crowned Miss Fresher. Other titles included:
