MIET Celebrates Vishwakarma Jayanti with Enthusiasm, Students Pledge Innovation and Excellence

Meerut: The Mechanical Engineering Department of Meerut Institute of Engineering and Technology (MIET) celebrated Vishwakarma Jayanti with great zeal and devotion on Monday. The ceremony was inaugurated by Director Prof. Dr. S.K. Singh, who extended his greetings to students and faculty.

On the occasion, Chairman Vishnu Sharan Agarwal highlighted the significance of the day, calling Vishwakarma Jayanti not just a festival of faith but a day of inspiration, innovation, and social service for engineers. He emphasized that the teachings of Lord Vishwakarma inspire creativity, technical excellence, and service to society.

Vice-Chairman Puneet Agarwal motivated students to pursue the path of dedication, hard work, and excellence in order to achieve success in both professional and personal life. Speakers underlined that a balance of technical knowledge and discipline forms the foundation of nation-building.

Students participated in the event with great enthusiasm and pledged to imbibe the ideals of Lord Vishwakarma, giving priority to creativity, innovation, and integrity in their lives.

The ceremony concluded with the institute reaffirming its commitment to fostering excellence, innovation, and entrepreneurship in the field of technical education.

The event was graced by Dean Academics Dr. Sanjeev Singh, Dean First Year Dr. Vineet, Head of Department Dr. Vipin Kumar Sharma, Dr. Piyush Gupta, and Mustafa Saifi, along with faculty members and students.
