Meerut: The 29th Student Management Games (SMG) organized under the aegis of the All India Management Association (AIMA) concluded with a grand closing and award ceremony at MIET Business School, Meerut, on Saturday. The three-day national-level competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from 40 teams and over 160 students representing various management institutes across the region.
The closing ceremony was graced by Mr. S. P. Singh, President of the Meerut Management Association, and Mr. Ashok Agarwal, Member of Parliament’s Representative, Meerut, as chief guests.
In the competition, the IMS Ghaziabad team comprising Abhilash Kumar, Anurag Gupta, Rahul Mayur, and Ratnesh Singh secured the first position. The second position was claimed by the MIET Business School team consisting of Harsh Verma, Divij, Akshat Bhatnagar, and Ilma Parveen, while the third position was secured by another MIET team comprising Ayush Bhardwaj, Aaradhya Aggarwal, Akanksha Bhardwaj, and Anshika Tomar.
All winning teams, along with three additional teams, have qualified for the State-Level AIMA Student Management Games. The winners were felicitated with trophies and certificates by the dignitaries.
The event was attended by Mr. Pradeep Kumar from AIMA, Dr. Madhu Bala Sharma, Head of the MBA Department, MIET Business School, and faculty coordinators Dr. Priyanka Dalmia, Dr. Vaishali Goel, Ms. Sakshi Gupta, Mr. Rajneesh Kumar, and Mr. Ajay Chaudhary, who played a key role in the successful conduct of the programme.
