Uni Italia Hosts Interaction at IPEC to Promote Higher Education Opportunities in Italy

Sahibabad: Inderprastha Engineering College (IPEC), located in the Site-4 industrial area, recently hosted a special interaction session with representatives from Uni Italia, aimed at promoting higher education opportunities in Italy among Indian students.

Uni Italia, an official body supported by the Embassy of Italy in India, works to connect Indian students with academic institutions in Italy. The session witnessed participation from students, as well as school principals and counsellors from across the region.

The programme began with an informative session for students conducted by Ruby Thomas, Associate at Uni Italia, Embassy of Italy. This was followed by an interaction with invited school principals and counsellors, led by Arkaprabha Biswas, Coordinator of Uni Italia Offices in India, along with Rosella, Italian Language Coordinator.

During the session, the representatives highlighted the growing opportunities for Indian students in Italian universities and underlined the importance of international education in the current global scenario. They also provided practical guidance on the application process, required documentation, and key considerations for pursuing higher studies in Italy.

The Uni Italia team emphasised the promotion of the Italian language in India, stating that awareness at the school level can help students explore academic as well as cultural opportunities in Italy.

Principals and counsellors from 12 different schools attended the interaction and appreciated the initiative, noting that such engagements play a significant role in shaping students’ global outlook and career prospects.

The initiative reflects the joint efforts of Uni Italia and IPEC Sahibabad to enhance international academic awareness and create new pathways for Indian students aspiring to pursue higher education in countries like Italy.
