MIT BCA Students Shine in Inter-College Competition, Bring Laurels to Institution


Meerut: Students of the BCA department at Meerut Institute of Technology (MIT), Mansi and Vanshika Sharma, have brought pride to the institution by delivering an outstanding performance at the “17 Colors of Change Inter-College Creative Challenge 2026.” The competition was organized by the Department of Computer Applications at KIET University, Muradnagar, Ghaziabad, on April 11, 2026.

Mansi secured the first position in the Digital Poster category, showcasing exceptional creativity and a strong commitment to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). She was awarded a cash prize of ₹10,000 for her achievement.

Meanwhile, Vanshika Sharma secured the third position in the Idea Pitch category, demonstrating innovative thinking and a forward-looking approach. She received a cash prize of ₹3,000.

The primary objective of the competition was to promote awareness about Sustainable Development Goals and encourage students to contribute creatively and innovatively. Participants presented their ideas on various themes, gaining valuable exposure to global issues and enhancing their understanding.

Both students were also awarded certificates of achievement signed by dignitaries of KIET University.

The institute’s management and faculty members expressed their  over the students’ success and extended their best wishes for their bright future. This achievement reflects the talent, dedication, and excellence of MIT students and underscores the institution’s commitment to quality education and innovation.
