Class 5 Students Present ‘Sampada’ at MIET Public School, Highlighting Nature and Cultural Heritage

Meerut: Students of Class 5 at MIET Public School, Pallavpuram, presented a special classroom programme titled ‘Sampada’ on Monday, highlighting the importance of cultural heritage, natural resources and environmental conservation.

The programme began with the welcome of Principal Navneet Chadha, followed by the lighting of the ceremonial lamp before Goddess Saraswati by the principal and parents. Students set the tone with Sanskrit shlokas and a thought for the day, connecting the audience with India’s rich cultural traditions.

The students then presented a short play, riddles and poems centred on different forms of natural and cultural wealth. A dance performance highlighted the significance of the five elements, while a song conveyed the message that trees and greenery are among the most valuable assets of the Earth and must be protected.

Principal Navneet Chadha appreciated the students for their enthusiastic participation and said that such activities help children build confidence, creativity and leadership skills. She added that the school focuses not only on academic excellence but also on imparting moral values and life skills to guide students towards responsible citizenship.

The programme was held under the guidance of Chairman Vishnu Sharan Agrawal, Vice-Chairman Gaurav Agrawal and Manager Barkha Agrawal. Class teachers Surbhi Sharma and Sargam Rastogi played a key role in making the event successful, while teacher Kanika Paliwal also made a significant contribution. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Sargam Rastogi.
