Emotions, Music and Memories Mark MIET Farewell for CSE-IoT Graduates


Meerut: The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (Internet of Things) at MIET organised a colourful farewell ceremony for its graduating students, blending cultural performances, nostalgic moments and student honours.

The programme was inaugurated by Campus Director Dr Sanjay Kumar Singh, Dean Academics Dr Sanjeev Kumar Singh, Dean (B.Tech Computer Science) Dr Krishna Kumar and Head of the Department Dr Praveen Kumar Mishra.

A highlight of the event was a specially curated video presentation by junior students, showcasing the graduating batch's four-year journey at the institute. The montage, featuring classroom memories, campus activities and milestones, left many students emotional as they relived their first-year experiences.

As part of the celebrations, Ansh Sharma was crowned Mr Farewell, while Lahar Bansal was named Ms Farewell. Dhruv Gupta received the Mr Personality title, and Nalini Sirohi was honoured as Ms Personality for their overall presence and contribution during their academic journey.

Congratulating the graduating batch, MIET Chairman Vishnu Sharan, Vice-Chairman Gaurav Agrawal and Barkha Agrawal extended their best wishes for the future. They encouraged students to uphold the values of integrity, innovation and lifelong learning while pursuing successful careers.

The farewell concluded with cultural performances, interactive sessions and group photographs, giving students an opportunity to celebrate friendships and create lasting memories before embarking on the next phase of their professional journey.
