Meerut: First-year BBA students Shikha and Shreya Gupta of Meerut Institute of Technology (MIT) secured the first position in the Business Plan Competition 2026 held at I.T.S Ghaziabad, Mohan Nagar.
The competition was organised by the MBA Department of I.T.S Ghaziabad and witnessed participation from teams representing various institutions. Shikha and Shreya presented their innovative business idea with confidence, demonstrating their entrepreneurial skills, creativity and ability to develop a business concept.
The students were awarded a cash prize of ₹7,500 for securing the top position.
MIT Principal Dr Himanshu Sharma congratulated the students and said their achievement reflected their creativity, hard work and entrepreneurial spirit.
MIT Chairman Vishnu Sharan, Vice Chairman Gaurav Agarwal and Barkha Agarwal also congratulated the students on their achievement and wished them continued success in their academic and entrepreneurial journey.
