Meerut: Venkateshwara University and Institute, located on the National Highway Bypass in Meerut, officially launched its ambitious and free career guidance initiative “Nayi Disha–2025” for students who have recently completed their board examinations (Class 10 & 12) and undergraduate studies.

The 60-day academic counseling program aims to equip students with the right knowledge and guidance to choose secure, respectable, and future-proof career paths. The inaugural ceremony was held at the university’s Dr. C.V. Raman Auditorium and commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp before the idol of Goddess Saraswati.

Gracing the occasion were Dr. Sudhir Giri, Founder Chairman of the Venkateshwara Group; Dr. Rajeev Tyagi, Pro-Chancellor; Prof. Krishnakant Dave, Vice-Chancellor; Prof. Piyush Pandey, Registrar; and Dr. Madhu Chaturvedi, Chairperson of the Cultural Cell.

In his keynote address, Dr. Sudhir Giri emphasized, “Even in challenging circumstances, with proper guidance and determination, young individuals can achieve definite success.”

Dr. Rajeev Tyagi, a renowned career coach and motivational speaker, introduced the students to the “Five S Formula” — Self Confidence, Self Attitude, Self Time Management, Self Identity, and Self Uniqueness — describing it as the ultimate mantra for success in life.

Dr. Tyagi further elaborated that over the next 60 days, more than two dozen top career experts from across the country will guide students—especially from Meerut and Moradabad divisions—regarding various career avenues.

Alongside the university’s skill-based academic programs, students will receive expert insights on preparing for Civil Services, Defence Services, Police and Administrative Exams, and other competitive examinations. The program also offers crucial tips regarding academic qualifications, strategic preparation, and career planning—completely free of cost.
