Guest speakers and alumni share success mantras; students gain insights into innovation and career opportunities

The event began with a welcome address by Dr. Neha Verma and Dr. Kritika Tripathi, followed by the traditional lamp-lighting ceremony.
In his address, Head of Department Dr. Avinash Singh encouraged students to maintain discipline and attend classes regularly. The keynote speakers, including Soumil Sharma (Lab Head, Advance Research and Analytical Services), Dr. Avinash Singh (HoD) and Dr. S.K. Singh (Director, MIET), motivated students to pursue academic excellence, innovation, discipline, and holistic growth.

Adding to the vibrancy of the event, alumni Mr. Sheelvardhan and Ms. Dipali Thakur shared their personal journeys, offering guidance on career building and confidence. Senior students further enlivened the atmosphere with cultural performances, fostering a sense of community.
In his special lecture on “Career Opportunities in the field of Biotechnology and Microbiology”, Soumil Sharma remarked:
“This programme is designed to help students adapt to a new environment, understand their responsibilities, and make the best use of the resources offered by the institution.”
The event was graced by the presence of distinguished faculty members including Dr. Ashima, Dr. Divya Chaudhary, Dr. Sonia Sharma, Dr. Shipra Chaudhary, and Dr. Subir Kumar Bose, who played a key role in making the programme a success.
