National Seminar on “Ek Bharat – Shreshtha Bharat” Held at Shri Venkateshwara University

- Mark 150th Birth Anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel

Education Adda ।Meerut। Shri Venkateshwara University (SVU) organised a grand National Seminar on the theme “Ek Bharat – Shreshtha Bharat” to commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of the Iron Man of India and Bharat Ratna, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Eminent educationists, litterateurs, and scholars from across the country paid glowing tributes to Patel, describing him as the “Architect of Modern and United India.”

The seminar commenced at the university’s Patel Auditorium, where Founder Chairman Shri Sudhir Giri, Pro-Chancellor Dr. Rajeev Tyagi, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Krishna Kant Dave, District Prosecution Officer Shri Krishna Kant Tiwari, noted poetess Dr. Madhu Chaturvedi, renowned literary critic Dr. Rahul Awasthi, and Registrar Prof. Piyush Kumar Pandey inaugurated the event by lighting the ceremonial lamp and offering floral tributes to Sardar Patel.

In his keynote address, Founder Chairman Shri Sudhir Giri said, “Whether it was the struggle for independence or the unification of a fragmented India, Sardar Patel played a pivotal role. His iron determination and administrative acumen united 562 princely states under one flag, laying the foundation of a strong and integrated nation.”

Dr. Rajeev Tyagi, Pro-Chancellor and National General Secretary of the Lauh Purush Vichar Manch, highlighted Patel’s unparalleled leadership, saying, “If today’s youth imbibe Sardar Patel’s ideals of discipline, determination, and nationalism, India can once again emerge as a Vishwaguru.”

Renowned literary critic and poet Dr. Rahul Awasthi urged students to draw inspiration from Patel’s life, while Dr. Madhu Chaturvedi, eminent poetess and author, remarked that “Sardar Patel taught the nation to live with dignity and self-respect.”

Vice-Chancellor Prof. Krishna Kant Dave, senior literary figure Dr. Gopal Narsan, Registrar Prof. Piyush Kumar Pandey, and Station House Officer Komal Tomar also addressed the gathering, emphasizing Patel’s lasting legacy in shaping the nation’s unity and administrative strength.

The event was graced by Director (Academics) Prof. Rajesh Singh, Dr. Yogeshwar Sharma, Dr. Thomas, Dr. Mohit Sharma, Dr. S.N. Sahu, Dr. Neetu Panwar, Dr. Om Prakash Gosai, Dr. Snehlata Goswami, Dr. Anjali Bhardwaj, Dr. Jyoti Singh, Dr. Ashwini Saxena, Dr. S.K. Srivastava, Dr. Suman, Dr. Pratap (Director, Meerut Campus), and Media In-Charge Vishwas Rana, among others.

The seminar was effectively conducted by Dr. Rajvardhan Singh, Dean, School of Law.
