Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak says Uttar Pradesh playing a leading role in building a healthier India
The event commenced with ribbon-cutting and lamp-lighting ceremonies before Goddess Saraswati. Addressing the gathering, Brajesh Pathak said Uttar Pradesh is playing a leading role in realising Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a “Healthy India”. He highlighted that the “One District-One Medical College” initiative has significantly strengthened healthcare services and expanded medical education across the state.
Sudhir Giri said the institution has been providing quality education and advanced healthcare services in western Uttar Pradesh for over two decades. Pro-Chancellor Dr. Rajeev Tyagi announced that the hospital will soon introduce a cath lab along with specialised neuro and gastroenterology units.
The programme was attended by Vice Chancellor Prof. Krishnakant Dave, Dr. Hari Singh Dhillon, Dr. Shishir Patil, Dr. Amit Jain and several senior doctors and dignitaries from the medical and education sectors.
