MIET Strengthens Future-Ready Education with AI & Machine Learning FDP

Meerut: The Department of B.Tech Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (AI&ML) at Meerut Institute of Engineering and Technology (MIET), in collaboration with the AICTE IDEA Lab, successfully concluded a one-week Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on Machine Learning.

The programme aimed to equip faculty members with the latest concepts, tools, and practical applications of Machine Learning, enabling them to deliver industry-relevant education and better mentor students in emerging technology domains. AI expert Vijay Kumar Sharma conducted a series of technical and hands-on sessions, providing participants with valuable insights into modern AI technologies and real-world applications.

A total of 33 faculty members successfully completed the programme. During the valedictory session, Vice Chairman Gaurav Agrawal awarded certificates to the participants and congratulated them on successfully completing the training.

Speaking on the occasion, Gaurav Agrawal emphasized the importance of continuous faculty upskilling in an era of rapid technological advancement. He noted that programmes such as these help educators stay aligned with industry trends while preparing students for future career opportunities in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.

The FDP served as an effective platform for knowledge enhancement, skill development, and academic collaboration. It enabled faculty members to strengthen their technical competencies and stay updated with the evolving landscape of AI and Machine Learning, reinforcing MIET’s commitment to delivering future-ready education and fostering innovation-driven learning.
