MIET Students Shine in CCSU Merit List, Secure Top University Ranks

Meerut: Students of Meerut Institute of Engineering and Technology (MIET) have once again brought laurels to the institution by securing top positions in the merit list released by Chaudhary Charan Singh University (CCSU), reaffirming the institute’s tradition of academic excellence.

Kiran, a student of M.Sc. Microbiology, secured the First Rank in the University with an outstanding 9.32 CGPA, earning the prestigious Gold Medal. Another M.Sc. Microbiology student, Vardha Pandey, achieved the Second Rank with an impressive 9.12 CGPA.

Adding to the institute’s success, Saloni, a student of B.Sc. Microbiology, secured the Second Position in the University by scoring 82.45 per cent marks. Meanwhile, Nidhi Tomar, a student of M.Sc. Biotechnology, achieved the Second Rank in the University with 89.78 per cent marks, further strengthening MIET’s remarkable performance in the university rankings.

Congratulating the students on their achievements, Vishnu Sharan, Chairman of MIET, said that the institute’s students continue to uphold the tradition of securing top positions in the CCSU merit list year after year. He noted that MIET consistently maintains a strong presence in the university’s Top-10 merit rankings.

He further highlighted that the institution has also been performing exceptionally well in the merit rankings of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), thereby bringing recognition to both the institute and the city of Meerut.

Mr. Sharan attributed the success to the dedication of the students, the guidance of experienced faculty members, a robust academic framework, and the institution’s student-centric learning environment.

On the occasion, Vice Chairman Gaurav Agrawal, Barkha Agrawal, Director Dr. Sanjay Kumar Singh, and Head of Department Dr. Avinash Singh congratulated the achievers and extended their best wishes for their future endeavors.
