Meerut: In a major placement achievement, 60 students from the B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering programme at Meerut Institute of Engineering and Technology (MIET) have secured placements at Deloitte Consulting, the world's largest consulting services provider by revenue and a member of the prestigious Big Four professional services networks. The students have been recruited for the role of Analyst – Technology & Transformation with an annual compensation package of ₹7.60 lakh.
The campus recruitment process included a Pre-Placement Presentation (PPP), Aptitude Test, Technical Interview, and HR Interview. Candidates who successfully cleared all stages of the selection process were offered final placement.
Expressing his delight over the achievement, MIET Vice Chairman Gaurav Agrawal said the institute's consistent placement record reflects its emphasis on industry-oriented education and skill development. He said students receive hands-on training in emerging technologies and advanced industry tools through the institute's Centres of Excellence, enabling them to meet evolving industry requirements and excel in competitive recruitment processes. The institute also nurtures innovation and entrepreneurship alongside career readiness.
