MIT Concludes International Conference on Emerging Innovations in Science and Technology

Meerut: The two-day International Conference on "Emerging Innovations in Science and Technology", organised at the Meerut Institute of Technology (MIT) on the Partapur Bypass, concluded on Saturday with the felicitation of researchers from India and abroad.
Delivering the keynote address, Dr Dibakar Rakshit from the IIT Delhi–Abu Dhabi Centre highlighted the pivotal role of scientific research and innovation in shaping the future. Encouraging young researchers to pursue impactful research, he said that international conferences serve as a vital platform for knowledge exchange, collaboration, and technological advancement. He also lauded MIT for successfully hosting an international academic event of this scale in Meerut.
During the valedictory session, MIT Vice Chairman Gaurav Agrawal, Campus Director Dr K.L.A. Khan, Principal Dr Himanshu Sharma, and Conference Convener Dr Gaurav Sharma honoured researchers for their outstanding academic contributions.
According to the organisers, the conference featured 151 research papers presented by scholars and academicians from South America, Spain, Malaysia, and nine Indian states. The deliberations focused on contemporary themes, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), Data Science, Renewable Energy, and other emerging areas of science and technology.
The conference provided a vibrant platform for researchers, academicians, and industry experts to exchange ideas, foster international collaboration, and explore innovative solutions to contemporary scientific and technological challenges.
