 Student Council Takes Oath at MIET Public School

Meerut: MIET Public School, Mawana Road, hosted a solemn and spirited Investiture Ceremony on Saturday to formally induct the newly elected members of the Student Council. The event aimed to instill a sense of leadership, responsibility, and discipline among students.

Principal Mrs. Rupali Sehgal administered the oath of office to the student leaders, urging them to uphold the dignity of their respective positions with sincerity and dedication.

Yuvraj Singh was announced as the Head Boy, while Bhavini was appointed as the Head Girl. Other key appointments included Vice Head Boy Yuvraj Tyagi, Vice Head Girl Yashasvi Sharma, Discipline Incharges Vaibhav Singh and Aditi Chaudhary, Cultural Heads Mridul Sharma and Ayushi Mittal, Vice Cultural Heads Divyam Kakran and Akshara Kansal, Sports Captains Himanshu Yadav and Ananya Sharma, and Vice Sports Captains Devraj Pundeer and Arya Dhama.

The newly elected student leaders were formally honoured with badges and sashes by Vice Principal Mrs. Ekta Saxena, symbolizing the responsibilities they are entrusted with.

In her address, Principal Mrs. Sehgal encouraged the students to serve as role models and discharge their duties with integrity and enthusiasm. She also urged the gathered parents and teachers to focus on imparting moral, social, and practical education alongside academics, emphasizing holistic development over textbook learning alone.

The ceremony was a step forward in fostering student leadership and reinforcing values that contribute to the overall growth of young minds.
