Campus Adda। Meerut। MIET Public School, Pallavpuram Phase-2, concluded its two-day Annual Sports Meet with energetic participation from students across all classes. The event was inaugurated by chief guest Shrinjoy Banerjee along with Chairman Vishnu Sharan, Vice Chairman Gaurav Agarwal, Manager Barkha Agarwal and Principal Navneet Chadha by lighting the ceremonial torch, followed by the school anthem and a disciplined march-past.
Students from pre-primary to Class 8 showcased their sporting talent in various track events. In Nursery’s Monkey Race, Dhriti, Kashvi and Aarohi secured the top three spots. Miran–Rhythm topped LKG’s Hoop Balance Race, while Atiksh–Shivansh excelled in UKG’s Hop & Jump Race. Class-wise races saw winners including Anya, Gauranshi, Suryavardhan, Aditya Chauhan, Anamika, Krishna, Vedika, Vinayak Sharma, Pari, Aarohi, Aradhya, Akshay Dhanakar, Sabar, Samarth and others across different categories. Class 8 student Parikshit Gole was honoured for winning a gold medal at the Sub-Junior National Roll Ball Championship.
In house championships, Patel House won Best March Past and Volleyball, while Bose House dominated Kho-Kho and emerged as the Best House overall. Bhakt House and Bose House claimed football titles in their respective groups. Anshika Dhanakdar was declared Best Athlete (Girls). Teachers’ races also added excitement, with Sonal Arora, Prachi Tewatiya and Nandini Vashisth securing top positions.
The event concluded with the national anthem. Staff members Rohit, Kanika, Shikha, Kaveri, Madhu and the entire team were credited for their significant role in the successful organisation of the sports meet.
