Over 1,000 students from 300 schools explore AI, robotics and future technologies
Meerut: MIET Group of Institutions made a strong impression at the three-day Bharat Shiksha Expo held at India Expo Mart, Knowledge Park, Greater Noida, by presenting a dynamic blend of education, technology and innovation.
The institution’s pavilion emerged as a major attraction at the expo, where more than 25 faculty members conducted a series of interactive and creative activities for students. The initiatives received an enthusiastic response from both students and parents, highlighting MIET’s growing role in promoting technology-driven education.
One of the key highlights of the event was “Creathon 2026”, organised in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of Viksit Bharat 2047. The platform brought together students, young entrepreneurs and innovators from across the country, who showcased their ideas, creativity and technical expertise.
Organised jointly by the MIET Incubation Forum, AICTE Idea Lab and ACIC MIET Meerut Foundation, the expo featured innovation-based competitions such as Ideathon, Codeathon, Hackathon and Startathon. These events encouraged students to think creatively and develop problem-solving skills through technology.
More than 1,000 students from nearly 300 schools participated in various activities and gained exposure to emerging fields such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and advanced digital technologies. MIET faculty members explained future technologies and their practical applications in an engaging and simplified manner, making learning both interactive and impactful.
Workshops on Design Thinking, Robotics, 3D Prototyping, Space Technology and Nature-Based Innovation provided students with hands-on experience and practical insights into real-world challenges.
The expo also witnessed high-energy attractions including Drone Shows, Robo Race, Robo War and Robo Soccer, which successfully combined entertainment with technology and generated immense excitement among participants.
The event received full support from the Uttar Pradesh Government and the Greater Noida Authority. Speaking on the occasion, Gaurav Agrawal, Vice Chairman of MIET, said the objective of the expo was to bring education, technology, innovation and career opportunities onto a common platform and provide a new direction to students, educators, parents and academic institutions.
The successful execution of the event was supported by Dr Mukesh Rawat, Dr Lalit Sagar, Dr Prashant Kumar Gupta, Rehan Ahmad, Vijay Kumar Sharma, Anurag Aaron, Vishi Khatri, Abhilasha Jain and Ajay Chaudhary.
