Director Prof. (Dr.) Anil Kumar Solanki highlighted the health benefits of regular blood donation, noting that it helps improve cardiovascular health and reduces the risks of heart diseases and stroke. He added that excessive iron levels in the blood can increase the chances of heart attacks, making periodic blood donation beneficial.
