IPEC Signs MoU with New Zealand Bharat Chamber of Commerce & Industry

Pact to Boost Technological, Academic, and Innovation Partnerships

Sahibabad: Inderprastha Engineering College (IPEC), located in the industrial area of Site-4, Sahibabad, signed a significant Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the New Zealand Bharat Chamber of Commerce & Industry (NZBCCI). The agreement aims to strengthen academic, industrial, and research collaborations between institutions in India and New Zealand, marking a step forward in fostering global cooperation in education and technology.

Speaking on the occasion, Shri Puneet Aggarwal, Vice Chairman of IPEC, emphasized that the MoU would play a pivotal role in building strong relationships between the two nations in the fields of trade, education, and research. He added that joint initiatives in technology, innovation, and academic exchange will pave the way for new opportunities in the future.

Roy Coundas, Secretary General of the New Zealand Bharat Chamber of Commerce & Industry, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, noting that business organizations in New Zealand are keen to collaborate with Indian institutions. “This MoU will deepen bilateral cooperation and open avenues for meaningful and long-term engagement,” he remarked.

Ajay Vashisth and Coundas Rao also shared their perspectives, highlighting the MoU as a strategic step toward fostering sustainable and mutually beneficial relations between India and New Zealand.

The ceremony witnessed the presence of several dignitaries, including Prof. (Dr.) Anil Solanki, Director, IPEC; Vibhuti Shankar, Vice President – International Affairs; Dr. Amit Jain, Dean Academics; Prof. (Dr.) Meenakshi Sharma; Dr. Sunita Yadav (Dean, CSE); Dr. Vijay Singh (HoD, CSE); Dr. Mahzabeen Bano (HoD, Management); Dr. Ragini (HoD, MCA); Dr. Priyanka Gupta (CEO, IPEC TBI); Dr. Tanveer (HoD, SDC); Tanushree (Incharge, International Relations, MIET); Shobhana Sharma (Head, Admission Counselling); Sapna Sharma (PRO, IPEC); and Sanskriti, among other senior faculty members.

The signing of this MoU signifies IPEC’s continued commitment to advancing global academic partnerships, fostering innovation, and providing students with exposure to international standards of education and research.
