MIT Meerut, Rosni Agri Sign MoU to Boost AI-Driven Agricultural Innovation and Student Skill Development

Meerut: The Meerut Institute of Technology (MIT) has signed a significant Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Mohali-based Rosni Agri Information Pvt. Ltd. to advance AI-driven agriculture, digital innovation, and student skill development. The MoU was signed by MIT Director Dr. K.L.A. Khan and Rosni Agri Managing Director Rajeev Tomer. Under the collaboration, both institutions will work jointly to integrate advanced technologies—such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, satellite analytics, digital agronomy, and precision farming—into agricultural research, classroom learning, and student projects. Rosni Agri, a leading deep-tech agritech company known for its digital platforms in farm analytics, climate diagnostics, and soil intelligence, also collaborates with IN-SPACe, Google, and GBPUAT Pantnagar. The partnership will provide MIT students with hands-on training, industry mentorship, real-world problem-solving opportunities, and exposure to the growing agri-tech ecosystem. The ceremony was attended by Dr. Rajendra Singh, Dr. Neeraj Kant Sharma, and senior experts from Rosni Agri. The collaboration is expected to strengthen digital transformation in agriculture across Uttar Pradesh and contribute to building a future-ready agri-tech workforce in India.
