IPEC-Backed Startup Wins Best Tech-Innovation Student Startup Award at AKTU Convocation

Ghaziabad: A startup incubated by the IPEC Technology Business Incubator (IPEC-TBI) at Inderprastha Engineering College (IPEC) has been honoured with the Best Tech-Innovation Student Startup Award at the 24th Convocation Ceremony of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow.

Dermashudhi LLP, a DPIIT-recognised startup, received the prestigious award from Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel for its outstanding contribution to technology-driven healthcare innovation. The award ceremony was attended by Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOCL) Chairman Arvind Singh Sahney, Uttar Pradesh Technical Education Minister Ashish Patel, Principal Secretary Dr M.K. Shanmuga Sundaram, and AKTU Vice-Chancellor Prof. J.P. Pandey.

Dermashudhi LLP has developed innovative technology-based solutions to address real-world healthcare challenges, demonstrating the growing potential of student-led research, innovation and entrepreneurship. The recognition highlights the startup's commitment to developing scalable and socially impactful healthcare technologies.

The achievement also reflects the strong innovation ecosystem created by IPEC-TBI, which provides startups with incubation support, mentoring, technical guidance, business development assistance, networking opportunities and access to government initiatives, enabling young entrepreneurs to transform innovative ideas into successful ventures.

Congratulating the startup team, IPEC Vice Chairman Puneet Agrawal, Director Dr D.K. Sharma, IPEC-TBI CEO Sajid Raza, and Sapna Sharma said the institute remains committed to promoting innovation, entrepreneurship and technology-driven research among students. They expressed confidence that the achievement would inspire more young innovators to develop impactful solutions for society and contribute to India's growing startup ecosystem.
