Over 3,000 Girls from Western UP Take Oath to Contribute to a Developed India 2047
Meerut: Venkateshwara University/Institution, located along the National Highway Bypass, marked Children’s Day 2025 with an impressive “National Service Pledge Ceremony and Awareness Rally.” More than 3,000 girls from various government schools across Western Uttar Pradesh participated in the event, taking a collective pledge to contribute actively to the vision of a Developed India by 2047.
The event commenced at the university’s Tiranga Ground, where Pro-Chancellor Dr. Rajeev Tyagi, Registrar Dr. Piyush Kumar Pandey, Dr. Rajesh Singh, and Dr. Anil Jaiswal flagged off the awareness rally. The participating students marched across the campus, appealing to society to rise above caste and regional divisions and work towards national unity and integrity.
Addressing the gathering, Pro-Chancellor Dr. Rajeev Tyagi administered the National Service Oath and emphasized that India is emerging as one of the world’s fastest-growing economies. “Youth power will not only lead India to the status of a developed nation but help it rise as a global leader by 2047. To achieve this, we must collectively safeguard children’s rights, ensure quality education and support their holistic development,” he said.
Venkateshwara Group Founder Chairman Mr. Sudhir Giri highlighted the critical role of young boys and girls in nation-building, stating that the youth of today will be the strongest driving force behind India’s developed future.
The ceremony also witnessed the presence of several distinguished dignitaries, including Dr. Aina Erick Brown, Dr. Neetu Panwar, Dr. Suman Kashyap, Dr. S.N. Sahu, Dr. Ashutosh, Dr. Yogeshwar Sharma, Dr. Thomas, Dr. S.K. Srivastava, Dr. Om Prakash Gosai, Dr. Ashwin Saxena, Dr. Rajvardhan, S.S. Baghel, Arun Goswami, Maruf Chaudhary, Meerut Campus Director Dr. Pratap Singh, and Media In-charge Vishwas Rana.
The university administration hailed the event as a powerful step toward fostering responsible citizenship, national unity, and youth-led development.
